What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is better described than defined. Hypnosis involves guided concentration or focused attention. Hypnosis is not sleep. A hypnotized person is not unconscious. A person in hypnosis hears everything that is said and remembers everything that goes on during the session. A hypnotized person will not do anything that violates his/her moral, religious or ethical code. If the hypnotized person is given a suggestion that he/she is uncomfortable with, he/she will reject the suggestion.

Can anyone be hypnotized?

Yes! Anyone of normal intelligence can be hypnotized.

Can you be hypnotized without your consent?

No! Hypnosis is a 100% consent state.

Can a person be made to divulge secrets?

No! Your inhibitions are down while in trance, like after having a couple of drinks. If you have something you truly don't want to be known, you would keep that secret in hypnosis.

What can I expect from a session at Galaxy Hypnosis?

Your hypnotist will discuss your goals or any issues you may have. The hypnotist will then explain how you can quickly achieve your desired results with hypnotherapy. When you are comfortable with the process, the session will begin. You will be guided into a very deep state of physical relaxation. Although very physically relaxed, you will be extremely alert mentally. You will be aware of everything around you . The hypnotist will then give your subconscious mind suggestions for the changes you desire, allowing you to accomplish goals and eliminate problems.

How much does this cost?

The cost of a hypnosis session is something that needs to be considered in the context of the benefit of the hypnosis compared to the positive change it can bring about in your life.  With all of the misconceptions there are about hypnosis, it is better to meet your hypnotists and be able to ask your specific question and get the answers directly from the person doing the work.  Hypnosis sessions are not like purchasing a tangible item, like a car, where the item you are buying is common and the price can be a primary determining factor.  For this reason, we offer a free consultation to help you understand what we can offer you in the way of positive change opportunities so you can make an informed decision about the options available.  

Where is your office?

Galaxy Hypnosis is located in Crofton, MD. Crofton, Maryland is in Anne Arundel County. The office is convenient to: Baltimore, MD, Annapolis, MD Columbia, MD Waldorf, MD Eastern Shore, Maryland Southern Maryland and Washington, DC.  We are offer Skype appointments for those clients who might not be able to travel to the office. We do offer in-home visits for clients who can not come to the office.   



PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Full payment is expected prior to or at time of delivery of services. You may also request a custom invoice for privacy concerns that may simply state "Consultation", "Security Deposit", or "Purchase". 

  • Purchase of Galaxy Hypnosis Specialty Programs or a pre-paid session plan are for your personal use, use of your significant other (i.e., Spouse, Domestic Partner) or household family member.
  • Refunds for unused portions of Galaxy Hypnosis Specialty Programs are made totally at the desecration of Galaxy Hypnosis and will be determined after considering the number and complexity of sessions completed, and non-session work is involved. Specialty Programs sessions are not all equal in value, all sessions are unique and some require extensive planning and preparation to be successful.  
  • Refunds for unused portions of Galaxy Hypnosis Pre-Paid Session plans are made at the desecration of Galaxy Hypnosis using these guidelines;  Single session fees ($150) will apply for any session completed or missed (with less then 24 hour notice) by the client. All refunds approved will be made by check and mailed to the client.                                                 
  • When you purchase our services, We commit to reserving adequate time to properly serve you. That affects how many clients we can see in a day, for that reason, We do not offer refunds for sessions completed. 
  • Your time is valuable, and so is mine. If you are late for your appointment, you lose that time. Regardless of how late you arrive, your appointment will end as scheduled. If you don't show, you will still be charged in full.

  • Appointment rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled appointment or you will be charged for the full appointment.

 

  • We do not accept any insurance. We will provide the receipt for your payment, and you can try to get reimbursed by your insurance provider. Check your FSA and HSA, theses accounts usually allow any deduction for non-reimbursed alternative medicine services.
